The Rasmussen Classic is a long running US Ski and Snowboard/Far West Central Series SL race held each season in January. This event is open to U/14/U16 athletes with active USSS Competitor membership. Competitors from Bear Valley, Dodge Ridge, China Peak and Snow Summit will race on the challenging Feather Duster SL course which will provide for great viewing.
This season’s race is being held in honor of Sandee Watts, our long-time leaderboard steward and fervent race team supporter, who passed away this summer.

You don’t have to be a racer or race parent to participate in the fun and support our Race Team. The Bear Valley community is invited to enjoy the event and festivities. Races begin at 10:00 am on both Saturday and Sunday.
You are welcome to join the Awards Dinner and Silent Auction beginning at 5:30 pm on Saturday, January 27th in the Sunroom. Special guest will be Bear Valley’s own World Cup racer, Erik Arvidsson. Tickets available on the Team BV web site for $30.
