The slopes of China Peak Mountain Resort were alive with energy this past weekend as young ski racers took to the course for the annual Van Neely U10 Kombi race. The event, held on March 8 and 9, showcased some of the region’s most promising young talents in the U8 and U10 divisions.

- 2nd Place: Aiden Fry
- 8th Place: Charlie Steinberger

Sunday, March 9 Results
- U10 Girls:
- 1st Place: Melanie Reichert (back-to-back victories!)
- 2nd Place: Jocelyn Kurey
- U10 Boys:
- 1st Place: Aiden Fry (improving from 2nd on Saturday)
- U8 Boys:
- 1st Place: Wade Hansen (sweeping the weekend!)
With strong performances from Melanie Reichert and Wade Hansen, who each dominated their respective categories both days, and Aiden Fry securing a Sunday win, the weekend proved to be a thrilling showcase of Bear Valley Race Team.
The event not only highlighted individual accomplishments but also the dedication of all the young athletes and their families who continue to support the sport.
