The Bear Valley Snowsports Foundation has been awarded a Ski Racing Safety Grant in the amount of $3,000.00 from The Kelly Brush Foundation Grants Committee to honor our commitment to athlete safety and to support our efforts. In the upcoming season you will notice a prominent display of a “We are Committed to Safety” banner to celebrate this fact. This grant will be used to purchase additional B net to improve the safety on our competitive tracks.
Throughout the 2025-2026 season, the Kelly Brush Foundation is celebrating its 20th year and the 20th anniversary of Kelly’s accident. At this milestone, we look back and celebrate the work put into making ski racing as safe as possible, and we look ahead to the next 20 years of making an even greater impact.
